Uncertainties Due to Hadronic Production in Final-State Interactions at Long-Baseline Neutrino Facility

چکیده
Recent neutrino oscillation experiments used high atomic number nuclear targets to attain sufficient interaction rates. The use of these complex introduced systematic uncertainties due the effects in experimental observables and need be measured properly pin down discovery. Through this simulation work, we are trying quantify argon (Ar) target comparison hydrogen (H) which proposed at Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment far detector near detector, respectively. Generates Events for Interaction Experiments NuWro, two event generators, construct final state kinematics. To observables, present ratio probability (P(Ar)/P(H)) as a function reconstructed energy.

Final State Interactions in Hadronic Ww Decay at Lep
An overview is given of the study of final state interactions in hadronically decaying W pairs produced in ee-collisions as it is performed by the four LEP experiments. Bose-Einstein correlations are investigated by comparing likewith unlike-signed pairs of pions and/or using the mixed event analysis technique. Colour reconnection is examined with a method that compares the particle flow distri...
متن کاملHadronic final state interactions at ALEPH and OPAL
Bose–Einstein (BE) correlations between identical bosons and Fermi–Dirac (FD) correlations between identical fermions lead to an enhancement or a suppression, respectively, of the particle pairs produced close to each other in phase space. The effect is sensitive to the distribution of particle sources in space and time. The strength of the correlations can be expressed by the two-particle corr...
متن کاملJet quenching by (pre–)hadronic final state interactions at RHIC
Within a hadron-string dynamical transport approach (HSD) we investigate the attenuation of high transverse momentum (p⊥) hadrons as well as the suppression of ’near-side’ and ’far-side’ jets in Au+Au collisions at invariant energies √ s = 200 GeV and √ s = 62.4 GeV in comparison to the data available from the Relativistic Heavy-Ion Collider (RHIC). From our transport studies we find that a sig...
متن کاملEffects of Final-State Interactions in Hadronic B Decays
Although the importance of final-state interactions (FSIs) has long been recognized in hadronic charm decays, the general folklore for hadronic B decays is that FSIs are expected to play only a minor role there due to the large energy release in the energetic B decay. However, there are growing hints at some possible soft final-state rescattering effects in B decays. The measurement of the colo...
متن کاملTesting LSND at long-baseline neutrino experiments
Recently it was suggested that two very different mass-squared differences play a role in atmospheric neutrino oscillations. The larger of these also accounts for the LSND result and the smaller of these also drives the solar neutrino oscillations. We consider the predictions of this scheme for long-baseline experiments. We find that high statistics experiments, such as MINOS, can observe a cle...
